I have just been sick in my mouth.

usualsuspect · 10/04/2012 22:46

We had the cheaper woolies version as kids.

MamaChoo · 10/04/2012 22:47

Has the foot model in the pic got a fungal nail infection? Looks gross on iPad.

JoyceDivision · 10/04/2012 22:49

hmmm... the reviews on Clarks are not as brutal as mumsnet Grin

OP posts:
SwedishEdith · 10/04/2012 22:51

I used to wear them with a white pleated skirt as well

HepHep · 10/04/2012 22:53

Well I quite like them! But I do agree about the baby poo brown - not a good colour, they'd be nicer in a darker brown. I got some saltwater sandals recently (thanks to this forum) which I really like and are quite similar.

ggirltwin2pinot · 10/04/2012 22:54

love them!
you need to be quite trendy to pull them off though

pictish · 10/04/2012 22:55

I just bought these!! Grin
My mum wore these when I was a kid.

I love them, and I am very cool.

doctordwt · 10/04/2012 22:56

No. Just drab. Not even outspokenly unfashionable. Just drab, forgettable, nothing. Sandals which look into the abyss.

doctordwt · 10/04/2012 22:56

Oops sorry Pictish Blush

pictish · 10/04/2012 22:57

Tis ok.
Dh thinks they're excellent. Grin

polyhymnia · 10/04/2012 22:58

Don't think they would look ironic on most people, just sad.

roguepixie · 10/04/2012 22:58

I know people who love them and they do work with certain looks.

Embrace your inner hippy and wear them with pride Grin.

TuftyFinch · 10/04/2012 22:59

I love them. I am very cool too.

FunnysInLaJardin · 10/04/2012 23:00

I think pictish is right and on the right person they would look fab. I may have to buy a pair and pretend I am furiously trendy whilst looking in RL like a 80's throw back Grin

Bluestocking · 10/04/2012 23:03

These were majorly uncool even in the 1970s and are now absolutely unforgivable, unless you are a missionary working in a hot country. Pictish and Tufty, you're not by any chance hipsters, are you?

TuftyFinch · 10/04/2012 23:04

I am so hip I ache Grin

usualsuspect · 10/04/2012 23:05

They are a bit hipster wear , to be worn with ironic glasses and cardis

I'm having at write this at DS's (5) request. He wants to click on all the faces. He's up with chicken pox. Sorry, I can't say no. AngryWinkSmileBlushGrinSadAngrySmileGrin

Thanks Sue, that's not cheap that Badadeus.

usualsuspect · 10/04/2012 23:08

Get well soon, mini Tufty

pictish · 10/04/2012 23:09

I got mine direct from Clarks - same price, free delivery, and also got a very nice free t-shirt with them as well!
Nifty!

LadyWord · 10/04/2012 23:11

Last year clarks did some fab flat sandals which I was going to buy, then didn't, then they became all fashionable and sold out, bah - I was hoping they'd bring them back this year but so far they haven't. They were simple like the Kestrel Soar, but so much funkier.

here

I love them, but I don't think I could carry off the OP's. You would have to be seriously hip with no hint of mumsiness.
