The perfect denim jacket hunt

Im looking for a denim jacket to wear with maxi dresses etc, preferably not too bleached or faded, I quite liked the cropped style, but I'm 5ft9 so I'm not sure whether that would be a good idea? Size 14/16 depending on store...

Thanks MrsCB, the warehouse one is on my list to try, good to know about sizing. I couldn't see the whistles one on the website, but I find it infuriating so may try in store or at JL. The search continues

I got a lovely one in H&M. Lovely fit, cropped, subtle fading. Also inexpensive!

Topshop have some nice cropped ones in different shades for around £40

I tried loads and went with H&M in the end. Mango have a lovely one which is a really good colour but the fit is small.

I've always fancied a blue denim jacket but never owned one. I'm now 46 (size 10) - am I too old?

Never too old for a denim jacket - they can be worn by anybody from 4 to 400 imho.

Those that have the H&M one is it this one?? I wanted a washed/faded blue one but can't work out if the buttons on this one will look too brassy in real life?

I think mine is a bit darker.

Well you can buy it for £19 inc £4 delivery if the codes still work so maybe worth a shot?! I am size 12/14 and have ordered a 12 as I won't be doing it up either.
