Hi, I am tirelessly searching for a nice maternity dress for a wedding I have at the end of April, everywhere i've looked so far i've just looked as though i'm wearing a sack of material and like i'm 4 times bigger than I am. My bump is all at the front and i'd like to wear something thats still fitted but accomodates bump...Has anyone seen any of the recent series of silent witness, theres a pregnant lady in that (character connie) who wears some gorgeous maternity dresses....does anyone know what designer these are?

Any other tips would be welcome i'm running out of time!

Thanks :) xx

Hi, sorry not sure about designer for Silent Witness dresses.

Other ideas: have you got a New Look near you? I got a couple of wedding-type dresses there last year. Basic but can always accessorise! Short and long styles.

Have you tried Isabella Oliver? Pricy but great quality and they usually so fitted-but-accomodates-bumo well

I had 2 bumps that were all up front (not at the same time obv) imo actual maternity dresses just have too much fabric in them when you carry that way (when I was pg with DD and all round the front maternity dresses actually looked ok-ish).

Last year I wore non maternity maxi and other dresses a size up and they worked really well.

Monsoon had some, this one although not wedding-ie is the same shape as one they did last year and it hugs an all up front bump very nicely. TKMax also had some good buys for me last year when I was pg too.

Try Tiffany Rose and Pretty Pregnant.
