Help me find a blusher - please!

I have a Harvey Nicks voucher and am setting off tomorrow with the sole purpose of picking a new blusher - any recommendations? I am quite new to blusher (although I have been wearing benetint for years, I feel like I need a change). I have quite a pinky skin tone so I do slightly worry that i'm making a mistake even trying it, but I feel like it might 'complete' the look a bit, if that makes sense.

All advice and suggestions welcome! TIA

Ooh fun! I was messing around yesterday with blushes in a dept store. I like Laura Mercier cheek colour: I normally wear 'orange blossom' but yesterday tried 'wild bouquet' and think I might go back for it. Or everyone raves about Nars 'orgasm'- I haven't tried it myself but worth a look. It's hard to tell from the colour in the pot: go wearing your usual lipstick and get them to recommend a colour to suit.

I came to suggest Benetint!

I hear lots of good reviews about Nars Orgasm but must admit I found it too sparkly.

I have a v nice corally coloured one from Clinique and I think Clarins do some nice ones too.

I love my Chanel blusher, but my last one was Mac and that was nice too. Don't be afraid to ask for help choosing a colour that suits your skin tone!

i quite like smashbox o glow at the moment, gives a nice pinky glow you can build up

Another pinky-pale type here, current favourites are a pink Bobby Brown cream stick thing, an Urban Decay cream ( called, I think, Afterglow) but my absolute top recent discovery is Nars Exhibit A - looks RIDICULOUS in the palette, I mean clown central tomato red but a teeny bit on a big brush and it's magical - really, I like subtle and natural and this is excellent.

Thanks all... lots to try tomorrow! I have also heard good things about Nars Orgasm so I might give that a go first! I don't normally wear lipstick, only gloss, and I'm struggling to find the right colour for me in that as well. Going to pick up some Estee Lauder foundation while I'm there so considering getting some advice from them on a good lipstick to suit me - the doublewear lipsticks have good reviews, so fingers crossed!

Southeastastra, I tried to buy O Glow at my local Debenhams and it was sold out, plus they told me they were closing their concession so wouldn't be getting more. Will see if HN stocks it!

Nars Orgasm is a beauty staple. Everyone should have it.

Nars Orgasm IS amazing! It suts everyone and it's very hard to overdo it and end up looking like a 5 year old did your make up.
I have used dozens of different blushers over the years and always go back to blushers.
Also, if you ever want a bronzer, Nars Laguna is amazing, it is a gorgeous colour with not a hint of orange no matter how much you put on.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the help... I very rarely wear makeup (slightly unnecessary in my job) so I'm a bit out of the loop now I've decided to make an effort!

I love the new Nars Gaiety. It's less sparkly than the Orgasm and builds up really well. I've been looking for years for The One and I think this is it. (The Nars Laguna bronzer is well worth a try too if you're at the Nars counter)
