HELP! Spilt nail glue!!

covermeup · 06/04/2012 18:47

Was just putting a nail on that had fallen off and dropped it on my lap and the glue spilt on my new dress!! :(

Anyone got any tips of how I could maybe get it off? I tried nail varnish remover but that didn't work at all.

Dress is made from polyester is that makes any difference??

You need 100% acetone or try putting it in frezzer and chipping off

Obv I mean freezer! doh...

I've picked dried nail glue off of clothing before and it took the material with it leaving a hole! Do you think it would do the same if I put it in the freezer or do the think the glue would lift off easily? I'm just worried because it feels like it's soaked through!

Any other suggestions still welcome!

I might try the acetone then if it has soaked through.
Anything that is false nail or tip remover should work I think.
Or ask the dry cleaners?

Thankyou. I'll get my Mum to pick some up for me from work on Monday!

Will let you know how I get on!
