Find me a new watch please

DH taking me watch shopping in York tomorrow.

I want a fairly plain (i.e.not blingy) analogue watch which needs to have a second hand, and I quite like leather straps though that's not essential..but not bangle-style.

Not too petite-looking or delicate, nor oversized.

Budget of up to £100

M+S have some nice ones, but its a 40th birthday present so he was looking for something 'a bit nicer' that he could have engraved on the back (ahh!)

Also any jeweller's shops you could recommend in York.

I was looking for a watch with a leather strap a couple of weeks ago, and I seriously considered this Michael Kors one, but in the end I decided to go for this DKNY one. It might be a bit too bling for you, it's certainly a lot more bling than I usually go for, but I love it, and I think the leather strap tones it down. There's also a black version which looks a bit plainer.

All good suggestions..in fact I looked at most of them in the jeweller's today and really liked them, but in the end went for a nice M+S one and he bought me a beautiful pendant too, bless him
