Rash if I shave legs too often - how do you stop it?

I would have to shave twice a week to be able to show my legs all the time.

However if I shave this often, I am guaranteed to get a rash! (ingrowing hairs, itchy)

I've tried cheap disposables, expensive ones with gel or strips.

Have shaved with soap, gel, conditioner, baby oil.

Have moisturised afterwards (if perfumed stings like billy-o)

Boots used to do an after shaving soothing lotion with tea tree oil that helped a little but it's discontinued.

Can anyone help?

Oh and have tried regular exfoliation after shaving - again helped a bit with the ingrowing hairs but still got a rash.

Happens to me as well - I tried all sorts of stuff. I have to use an electric shaver now because of it. I can't wax either as I get a terrible rash.
The only thing that ever was a really good solution was the epilator.
It was sheer agony the first time I used it- and got a terrible rash but then it was a really easy after that and kept my legs smooth with limited upkeep. Stopped using it after I got pregnant and haven't had the nerve to start again.
