False Nails? I'm clueless

DD has a big comp at the weekend; I thought to treat her to some nice nails (as she picks her own nails)

The local salon does 'Bio sculpture Gel Nails' or 'Nail4UACRYLIC' are either of them suitable for short term wear (about 5 days) - would they hurt/damage her nails at all?

I prefer gel nails, if she is only keeping them on for 5 days you will have to have them removed you can't just peel the off assuming you are taking her to a salon and not buying false ones from supermarket, so you would need to pay for two treatments in total, for only 5 days I doubt they will soften her nails that much tbh, HTH

Those types of nails are designed to last for about 2 weeks, if you wanted them off after 5 days or so, you'd have to go back to the salon for a "soak off" which you also have to pay for - as Susie says, you can't just take them off yourself.

For that period of time, it's highly unlikely that her nails will be damaged.

I rang and it was £30!!!

Not quite the scale of treat I was expecting - so I painted them for her myself and we had a mini pamper session

I'll discuss it another time when we are richer [buwink]

Oh yes forgot to mention the price, it's not a cheap hobbie!

Next time you could just go for some false nails that you can stick on short term.
Anything Acrylic or Gel is really a 2-3 week thing plus can take quite a bit of removal time - 30 mins-ish
Gel polish should last 2 weeks and removal is a bit shorter at around 15 mins
Glue on nails last about a week but again removal 10-15 mins
False nails applied using Ultra tabs -up to 5 days wear but can remove in under a minute.
