Right, I am curvy and in my thirties! I have grown my grey splattered naturally brown hair, which I have highlighted with a few colours and bleach.

My hair is all one lenght and roughly measuring 21 inches long from the crown.

It is greasy so needs washing every 36 hours, I tried everything, it makes no difference to greasyness.

My hair has a bit of a natural kink in it and is on the finer side.

I don't put a lot of effort into grooming in the long run.

I need to give it a good cut, and was thinking of doing something with a fringe.

Any ideas?

Not much to offer in terms of ideas, but just to ask you to think about donating the hair you cut off (if you cut off quite a lot) to Little Princess Trust. I've always had long hair currently growing my hair to have it cut off for them. I've got about 10 inches at the moment but am trying to get it as long as possible. My hairdressers had never heard of the charity but are now asking anyone who has a "restyle" of long hair to consider it.

A few (long) layers would probably lift the top layer enough to stop it getting greasy so quickly?

Thanks for the link. I am not planning on cutting off all my hair just the fringe area, I will save that bit though!

Layers make no differnece to greasyness, trust me I have tried everything, I went hardcore last summer and did two weeks without washing my hair, it made no difference, I had short hair it made no difference, I have tried many products, some made it worse!

Anyways, just looking for ideas that work with what I have to play with.
