i would like to put a mirror above my brick fireplace , normal brick rustic fireplace with wooden mantle

would this look ridiculous?

and if so what would you recommend

That is bloody gorgeous.

It's classic - so will look great IMO. I like that it's not distressed or crackled or any of that "current look" shizzle.

thanks , it's v nice but after measuring i think my mantle is too low for a mirror to sit on it
need a very high one
have put back the painting that was there before..back to the drawing board
