Bumble & Bumble thickening spray - the biggest pile of poo ever

Honestly I bought this like a sheep after seeing Sali Huges recommend it and it is beyond rubbish. I can only assume its sugar water as it made my hair limp, sticy and static. Nearly a full bottle has gone in the bin.

So don't be tempted by this - it is rubbish.

Fetch it out the bin, clean it up and put it on Ebay, mark it as used once.

Someone out there will buy it, I see used skin and hair care go all the time when used. It often goes for not much less than new unopened ones.

I cannot believe what people will buy.

Someone recommended the Lee Stafford "I hate my hair the day it's washed" on here.
It's the only thickening type thing I have ever bought twice. Non-sticky but gives it some oomph.

And I bought the Bumble stuff......once, many years ago.

monkeysmama · 31/03/2012 12:22

Someone else was criticising it the other day too on the thread about bad beauty products. I think I'm the only one who likes it though I use it once in a blue moon. There's a ££ (Oribe?) one Space NK sell that's like perfumed & slightly oily water. It's awful but I fell for the sales pitch of course.

I use Philip Kingsley maximizer. I have used a couple of products from bumble and bumble in the past and have never seen the fuss. No good for my hair at all. I have just purchased ojon thickening spray but havent tried it yet.

Kerastase Volume Active is excellent stuff. It is the only thickening spray which doesn't send my fine hair into a lank unattractive mess.

MrsCampbellBlack · 01/04/2012 07:48

Glad I'm not the only one who hated it although what a waste of money.

Have gone back to using my trusted kerastase shampoo and a tiny amount of their elixir ultime and my hair is looking the best it has for ages.

Must not be such a sheep in future.
