Is it ok to wear a pillarbox red dress to a wedding?

It's a bit like this except with a black band across the waist, and a bit above knee length not mid thigh.

I did wear it to another wedding about two years ago (DH's stepsister) - and in the pictures everyone is in nice, safe pastel or floral print and I do stand out rather. Blush. This wedding is tomorrow, and it is a friend from school, not super close but one of our "gang". I don't know what colour bridesmaids are wearing.

We do a group shot of all of us at every one of our weddings, and this one is number 9! I have worn all my other dresses to those weddings so don't want to double up, and could do without the expense of buying another.

Is red "not done" or is it ok?

Thanks!

Wear what you want to. No reason not to wear red.

Oh wow - what a lovely dress. You go for it! The only exception would be if the bride were wearing red - my BF got married in red and she hinted that she would prefer if female guests didn't wear red. Have a fab day Smile
