Popped into awear today and this caught my eye www.awear.com/new-in/navy-nicole-bird-printed-mac/invt/10601008navy/

I'm 33, hourglass shaped and size 16. I'm thinking it is but it's sooooooo pretty!!

It is very pretty - buy it!

I'm 43 and an hourglass, I don't think the style is too young for me so definitely not too young for you. However, with big boobs, double breasted is a no no for me, and if it isn't done up it looks all wrong. Find a dress with a bird pattern on and buy a single breasted plain mac would be my advice.

Not at all too young, it's lovely.
I can just picture it with some skinny jeans...

jumpinghoops · 28/03/2012 21:36

I'm 32- and love it, and want it!

startail · 28/03/2012 21:37

It's lovely, if your a 16 and taller and more evenly proportioned than me it will work.

Unfortunately I'm only 5'4" and really a 14 top 16 bottom. By the time a double-breasted jacket fits round my hips, my narrow shouldered, small breasted top half looks like a badly wrapped parcel.

Shriekable · 28/03/2012 21:37

Def not too young . . . buy it!!

HelgatheHairy · 28/03/2012 21:37

Thanks lots!!

So general consensus is its not too young. I take your point Dolly about the double breasted thing so I'll be trying it on (didn't get the chance today).

It's beautiful, love it! You'll know whether double breasted suits you, the style is obviously not just for teens and the print is subtle and sweet.

Jealous - I can't wear trenches, am pearshaped and they look ridiculous on me. If you've got boobage it will look fab.

I love it! Really quirky... whereas my 9 month old might choose a similar pattern for a babygro, the style is ageless...
