What on earth do I wear to a bar/club these days?

Please help me!

I am going on a hen night in a few weeks, and we are going to a bar/club in London.

Due to having been either pregnant, BFing, depressed or a combination of the above for over 4 years, it is a while since I have been out on this kind of night.

So, what the hell do I wear?

I'm 5'2", size 16/18. Boobs are best feature.

Budget - £150ish? Could go higher for the right things, especially if I was going to get more wear out of them.

I would say a dress that makes you feel fab and heels that you can walk in.
What colours are your favourites and will have a look?

I've got some red heels which are lovely and also comfy so those are a possible, or I have some black LKBennett ones.

Colours - mmm, I don't like yellow/orangey colours. Or pink.

Oooh, you sound similar shape to me and I was 'out out' Grin last week!

I wore a woolen sort of dress from Fever, bright tights and flats ( I can't wear heels for love nor money and even the tallest heels will not disguise my shape so might as well stay comfy in flats!)

Grown up or too wedding-y? www.feverdesigns.co.uk/andrulla-dress-camel.html

Not every ones cup of tea but for some reason I like this? www.feverdesigns.co.uk/kew-dress-navy.html

Happy shopping!

you could buy two in your budget! Always be prepared! Grin

Have a jolly good hen night, may you be very merry and maybe fall over a bit Grin

Depends on the kind of place too. Has it got a website and you can see what people are wearing in the pics?

This one is quite dressy - could show off your boobs and would go with maybe red or black heels
Forever Unique
This could be quite pretty/skimmy tiered and you could get new shoes!

Thanks for the ideas, I do really like all these dresses.

Jack - I did look on the website, girls are dressed variably, some very dressy others less so. Blokes in jeans and very casual shirts.
I think the thing is going to be, what are others in the hen party wearing? We are doing some activities during the day and I am assuming there will be an opportunity to change before the evening but I am not 100% sure.

I am 99% going to buy that lovely camel fever dress to wear to a v.glam wedding I am going to in Italy later in the year Grin
