Bravissimo/Ultimo Swimsuits

Has anyone tried these? Am looking for a swimsuit, the problem I have is I need one that I can adjust the size of the top on, eg I need a 10-12 bottom but a 14-16 top so standard doesnt work for me.
Does anyone know if with these two, if I order a large bust size will the bottom automatically be large too????

Separate bikini would be another option but I cant find anything I like that isn't grannyfied......

It's not ultimo but it's designed for big boobs and I think it's cute:

I got a great Fantasie swim suit last summer in John Lewis. They are bra sized and a 34gg ( my usual bra size) fitted perfectly everywhere and I am a size 10-12 on my bottom half and a 14-16 on top.

Bravissimo do great functional swim suits and I have bought loads of bikinis from them. Their customer service and returns policy is excellent so I always order two sizes in everything and send back what I don't want free of charge.

YonWhaleFish · 28/03/2012 16:14

I haven't! I just found it via googling "tankinis for bigger busts" as I wasn't sure if you wanted a proper bikini two piece! Good luck!

i got an ace one in marks strangely a year or so ago

bikini wise i tried on THIS one and was LOVELY much brighter on and really retro chic

OR look on ebay - i got some freya new ones there a couple of years ago this one but diffo cacks

MissFoodie · 28/03/2012 16:44

yes, saw that veronica bikini on bravissimo, was the only one I think I liked, but would prefer in tankini as I find the bottoms, although they look high, come up short on me....

I don't think i would buy swimsuits/bikinis from Bravissimo as you can get virtually all of them cheaper elsewhere.
I get mine from Figleaves (always with a % off code) for the bra sizes or ASOS.

MsNorbury · 28/03/2012 18:24

Next used to do freyas too. Got ace bargains in sale.

scotsgirl23 · 28/03/2012 18:26

with bravissimo swimsuits, the size of the bottom half depends on the back size rather than the cup. I bought one previously that was a 32, and I would estimate the bottom was a 10-12 ish.

I think they are more suited to people who are top heavy - if you are very hourglass then the hips to go with the back measurement can be too tight.

marriednotdead · 28/03/2012 18:47

Scotsgirl you are right about the proportional sizing of swimsuits, it's the same withsame with any brand that does bra sized though, not just Bravissimo. If your bottom half does not correspond with the band/dress size equivalent, you can sometimes get away with going up to your sister size e.g. 32G- 34FF to take the swimsuit up a dress size. If that's not enough, tankinis are the way to go.

MsNorbury · 28/03/2012 19:16

I find bikini top cup sizing very odd.

scotsgirl23 · 28/03/2012 19:35

Very true Married, we just have such a crap range of shops which sell big boob friendly swimwear around here that I think of them as "Bravissimo swimsuits"!

MissFoodie · 29/03/2012 12:25

I'm giving up and getting tankini from M&S.........
not best print but at least can order a 10/12 bottom and 14 top!
