So basically the only sophisticated, flattering, glam, wear and wash to death quality maternity wear is £££ Isabella Oliver?

I'm in my late 30's 2nd baby just realised I wore out all my maternity stuff as stayed fat for a good 9 months after. And the only stuff still going is the Isabella Oliver bits I bought. I really need some more.

I've scored some lightly used or BNWOT bits on ebay and a bit in their sale. Any other ideas? I'm finding everywhere else is either, frumpy or too young (e.g. short dresses and stuff) or poor quality (e.g. H&M thin material and unraveling seams)

Any other brands to look at please?

Sorry, after extensive research over two pgs, I found isabella oliver to be the only brand meeting your criteria.
Ridiculous isn't it?

Seraphine and Crave Maternity are usually worth a look. Not nearly as cheap as H&M and the like but a bit cheaper than Isabella Oliver.

Have a couple of nice things.

I liked Seraphine and Mamas and Papas.

IO is where its at with a smattering of crave. I also thought pichu looked good but I'd run out of justifications for more clothes.

My IO stuff is still wearable post-partum (tops, wrap dress - trousers perhaps not) so seems like a good deal to me.

Gap worth a look. The black and black and white striped maxi dresses are good if you like that kind of style (the striped one comes up big oddly so consider sizing down) Again, depending on your style the pyjama style trousers that are on trend at the moment are very easy to wear though they're generally non maternity. I wear mine with long ribbed maternity vests from Gap usually.

Seraphine has been mentioned. The bamboo leggings are so comfy.

Pretty Pregnant have some interesting bits. They stock Noppies which I like though it is not cheap.

I find JojoMamanBebe pretty unstylish but the quality seems decent.

Just posted about this dress. Non maternity, but I tried it on today with 7month bump and it looked good. Its to the knee, fully lined & stretchy....

IO for me - buy on ebay, wear through pg and for 9 months after, sell on ebay
= pretty much free clothes

DS is now 16mo - and I'm still wearing the ruched T-shirts though Hmm

shopalot · 28/03/2012 20:53

Chocolateteabag-Dd is nearly 5 and I still wear mine.....in fact considered buying new ones but can't bring myself to buy maternity when a) don't plan on being pg ever again and b) I am size ten.......! But they look so nice and are great quality.
