when i was 13 we moved from canada to wales for a yr
at the time the 'shag' haircut was v trendy in canada (1976)

I walked into a small salon in the Mumbles and quite shyly asked if I could have a shag. I do remember lots of sniggering ..I was an innocent girl and none the wiser at the time.
Ended up walking out with the most awful mullet you've ever seen

If you like it then go for it, personally I can't stand that hairstyle.

I want a few more layers in my hair as it's leaning towards mumsy bob atm.

I OVE thsi hairstyle but realise my face is MANY MANY years older than hers

Not really a shag but more layerdy

I looked at my hair today and it reminded me of the mum in the middle
