hair brush recommendations please

I need a good hairbrush- large barrel type for new fringe. I've found brushes quite 'scratchy' in the past.

Anyone have one they would recommend?

I like the Goody start style porcupine ionic one because it has knobbly bits and bristles also. Can't link sorry.

Mason and Pearson - seconded. I've had mine for over twenty years. Initially high outlay but the pure bristle one is brilliant and comes in several sizes. I have thick hair and I should have it till I keel over.
