Getting colours done - recommendations for North London/Herts

Hi all, I wanted to get my mum one of the HoC days that I have read about so much on here! She is amazing and has always been there for me through long periods of ill health and since the birth of DS and I just wanted to get her something nice for her birthday to say thank you. I was hoping that someone on here might recommend someone for me. She lives in London N21 and anywhere within an hour or so's journey would be fine. I am also really interested in getting my own colours done but I am scared I will be made to throw away all of my black clothes! Thanks.

House of colour Watford is good. A lady called Helen goes through it al with you and there is a nice lunch. It's the head office of HoC too.

For a mum's age/ generation I'd recommend the lady in Shenley/ Radlett/ Boreham wood. I went and the colour analysis thing was great, but I wouldn't go back for the style day as she was older than me and I don't think I'd get on with her so well for it.

She is called Susanne www.houseofcolour.co.uk/suzanneconstantine/index.php

Brilliant - thanks bookworm and Blooo. Sorry I am just replying, I couldn't find the thread! I will definitely have a look at both of those people. My mum is 53 so Bloo your lady could be good. Can I ask, does it last all day? What do they do in that time? Thanks very much.
