I'm 31 weeks pregnant and I'm going to a wedding at the beginning of May (so I'll be 37 weeks at that point).

I put on huge amounts of weight when pg and I'm already sporting the beachball-on-legs look.

I bought an Isabella Oliver dress in the sale over Christmas... the style isn't on their website any more for me to show you, but it has a low, square neck with two panels which come across the bust and tie at the front; it's ruched at the side and knee length. It's electric blue and a stronger, darker colour than it seemed on my browser - I'm fair and will wear a white camisole which will show at the top, and which softens the colour on me.

But I'm really stuck for shoes and warmth. I'm going to have to go for heels, although they'll have to be 'safe' (!) and some sort of jacket or pashmina, but I'm really struggling to choose colours /styles which would work.

I lurk more than post so it's a bit cheeky, but I'd be so grateful if anyone has any suggestions for me.

TIA :)

I'd go for something quite plain as you have ties/ruching on the dress already. I like this if the colour is true and it is actually a taupe/mushroom/brown colour, might need to check irl as they are calling it 'cream' here Confused Taupe is a nice neutral that will go with the blue/white and means you can wear a lovely snake or leopard shoe?

Thanks fauxfox :) I really like the idea of a neutral colour, and I wouldn't have thought of a patterned shoe but I really like the snake link... they'd look good with jeans afterwards, too.

I'm not sure I could get away with a shrug that fastens as it would fasten in the same place as the tie on the dress... hmmm
