B4 U Colour.....

I'm assuming i can colour my hair immediately after using B4 U Colour? I've got a loreal feria dye and although you apply it to wet hair, it does say not to wash your hair before colouring, however the B4 U Colour, states that it is what its for, to prepare your hair before colouring.

ok.
B4U colour is awesome. If you have bleached your hair in any way, it will not remove the blond. I recently used it to strip away layers upon layers of very dark brown, and am astounded by the result. You can now see all the natural tones etc in my hair.
So. Make sure when you use B4UColour you rinse A LOT. It tells you how long on the instructions. Follow them to the letter. Lack of rinsing is what makes a lot of peoples hair revert to dark again.
You can dye after. I'd leave it a day then put the dye on. Also, go for a shade lighter than you were planning.
Hope this helps!

i am tempted by this as been colouring hair every 3-4 weeks for 2 years now and gone all sorts of different colours, including blonde highlights through the front. worried it will totally knacker my hair though, but could do with getting it back to a natural ish colour before recolouring again

Lulu - I have been dying my hair for YEARS. From red to blond to red to brown etc etc etc. Even pink. Thought I'd go for something lighter for the summer, and I even bought a hair dye to put on after I'd stripped. My hair has literally gone the most gorgeous colour. Sort of light coppery blond, and you can see where i had highlights a few years back but it looks so nice.
It will not knacker your hair. It doesn't contain ammonia or bleach, just smells a bit eggy so be prepared for that. When you're doing the rinsing (20 minutes in total) your hair will feel a bit yuk. But thats cos of all the rinsing. Once you dry it, it goes all shiny and soft :)

Are B4 U Colour and Colour B4 not two different things? The first is a prep for before you colour and the other is for colour correction?

I have a box of Colour B4 if anybody wants it. Unopened/unused - will post to UK only though :)

shutterbabe · 26/03/2012 21:52

Different names but same product - to rid hair of colour build up before colouring :)

SeasonOfTheWitch · 27/03/2012 09:34

yy, two different things afaik.

colour B4 is proper scary stripper to remove colour from your hair when you've fucked it up with multiple colour experiments over the course of two months (or is that just me?): www.boots.com/en/Colour-B4-Hair-Colour-Remover_1000978/

B4 U colour is just a mild thang to clarify before colouring: www.boots.com/en/B4U-Colour_1139068/?cm_mmc=Bazaarvoice_rating_and_reviews--Babycentre--Permanent-_-1139068

Yes, Colour B4 and B4 U Colour are two different things. I've too have used Colour B4 and its pretty ace.

I just wondered if i could wash my hair with the B4 U Colour immediately before applying my hair dye or should i wash my hair with it say the day before dyeing my hair?
