Skinnies falling down

Am not a skinny minnie(i wish) but my skinny Next jeans and M&S !! Jeans keep slipping down. Is 2% lycra in them too much? I think there was a thread on this before. 1% lycra must be better?

I've no idea about the lycra thing but I had the same problem with Next skinny jeans - and I'm def no skinny minny! I recently bought Dorothy Perkins ones on the recommendation of lots of friends & they are fab! Really flattering & keep their shape. Even better that they're only £15 or 2 for £25!!

i've never had skinnies that didnt fall down but Primark do high waisted skinnies. not my fave shop but will give a try. Just waiting for my size to come in..they seem to have all 8's and 18's at moment and nothing inbetween. What shades do the DP ones come in?

lololizzy · 25/03/2012 14:22

are the DP ones quite high waisted? i'm quite tall and fed up of always hoiking up so as to avoid builders bum

I hate my Next skinny jeans, i'm no skinny minny either. Can only wear long tops that completely cover my bum if i don't want to moon to the people behind me when i sit. Very interested in DP ones!

LolaLadybird · 25/03/2012 15:19

I have some DP ones that are quite high-waisted (higher at the back than the front too which is great for non-mooning). That said, even with a belt I feel like I'm losing them and have to keeping hitching them up.

I have some from French Connection and whilst they are expensive, they really fit and wash well, with no hint of a builders bum!
