False tan- recommend

ameliagrey · 25/03/2012 10:43

I get tired of whipping out the false tan 2 days before it is sunny! It's impossible!

Does anyone know a really good non smelly fake tan that is good for legs and can be used every other day to keep the tam topped up?

I hate Johnsons and ususally use Clarins which is nice but it's not one that you can use daily.

I am fair skinned and don't want anything orange.

I used Clinique Self Sun in Light. Top it up every 2-3 days with a light application.

thanks- had a clinique one a few years back so will check out as well.

I like the garner one too.

Still smells after a few hours though but think they all do.

I find the St Tropez mousse to be really good - it goes on really easily, doesn't smell much, and it seems to provide a nice, even coverage.

I love Xen Tan as it's less prone to streaks and looks more natural than most. Was put off for ages as thought it would give me a TOWIE type tan but love it now. Lasts for ages too.

Fake Bake Flawless. I have tried every type of higher brand self tan on the market; San Tropez, Xen Tan, Sienna Tan, regular Fake Bake, Famous Dave, Rodial, you name it, I've tested it.

FB Flawless is the absolute best. No odour, v believable colour and doesn't streak. I get loads of people asking me where I've been on hols when I'm wearing it, it's so natural.

bringbacksideburns · 25/03/2012 15:03

Does it cost an arm and a leg?

No pun intended!

Bunbaker · 25/03/2012 15:06

I just want to express my disappointment with the San Tropez one. I am fair skinned and bought the light/medium one. Result - no change Sad.

So my advice is avoid that one.

redwineandchocolate · 25/03/2012 15:07

I really like the No7 and cocoa butter gradual tans.
