eyelash extensions-can you remove them yourself

mine are at the end but some care hanging on for dear life. I don't want to pull them off cos it hurts and I don't want to damage my real ones any more than necessary.
Is there anything you can put on them to help the solvent disolve?
What are my eyelashes likely to be like when they all come off?

i get mine good and wet in the shower with the spray going directly onto my face and eyes and they can just be gently pulled out then. Never noticed any damage to my real eyelashes.

Oil based cleanser should do it. Don't pull them. You could break your real lashes and make them even stumpier.

I took mine off using a baby wipe after a hot shower, didn't hurt much

My beautician told me to Vaseline them (preferably overnight) & they should come off easily in the morning.
