Alternative to 8 Hour cream?

I'm a big fan of this magic cream and have used it for everything from dry skin on my feet, to soothing sun burn, to nappy rash on DS. But I'm having to tighten my purse strings these days, so wondered if anyone knows of any cheaper alternative? TIA

Lucas Paw Paw Lotion. Smells much nicer too!

Thank you! I've never heard of that so will have to Google it...

Vaseline - it's the major ingredient. Perhaps with a drop or two of lavender oil mixed in.

I got a huge pot that I have had on t he go for ages for 7 quid - fab price!

Just had a look on there and it's a bit pricier now but still a bargain. The products change on there all the time so worth keeping an eye on what comes in. I suspect most of the products are the same so a hand cream would be as good as the traditional one iyswim?

There is no alternative, it is magic healing cream. I hate chemically crap, but I have repeatedly tried and failed to find something to replace my 8 hour cream. Everything else either stings on raw skin or does bugger all.

Kamillosan

I was a beauty editor for years (Marie Claire/Harpers) and I would recommend Vaseline. Brilliant for so many things!

I hadn't even thought of Vaseline! But that totally makes sense! And do you have any more budget beauty tips, Violetgirl? You must have picked up loads as a beauty editor (v jealous) Smile
