Can anyone recommend any brands to try please? Just to narrow the field a bit.

I've got some Paige ones which fit beautifully and some topshop skinnies which are perfectly adequate for toddler chasing, but wondered if there were any other good ones to try.

I'm tall and very long in the body, plus I've a c-section scar, so low rise just doesn't work for me.

hush cords

I bought a size 14 first (probably my usual size), but they're a bit big. My size 12 pair arrived yesterday, they're fab Smile.

Cakeandroses...is it a border town?

Those Hush cords don't look high waisted to me...are they?

RecursiveMoon · 24/03/2012 11:57

Hmm, they're not low-waisted, but probably not classified as high-waisted either! Sorry, they're high-waisted to me Grin.

New Look have some great ones with 4 buttons and a tiny (ie pointless) zip. Only £20 and really corset-y, I now have 2 pairs as I tend to wear out clothes that workBlush. Come up quite large - my size 12s fit fine on my size 14 bum.
