No I wouldn't. Too close in colour. Go for a contrast.
What's ivory dress like? What's occasion?

Chippychop · 20/03/2012 22:38

Agree.the clash would ruin both dress and shoes. Try a more definite colour or even a natural leather depending on dress style. Have you got a picture?

Rottenrow · 20/03/2012 22:45

Oh no. I'm even more clueless than I thought

dress

Oh it's lovely very pretty. You are not clueless. Try some girly stroppy sandals with a pashmina or scarf or bangles or something in the same colour. Go for what suits you, not pastels or black though

I would either go for ivory, or a bright pop of colour (hot pink, purple, royal blue). Are you a bride/ bridesmaid? Lovely dress!

Rottenrow · 21/03/2012 07:47

Bride! But it's a small thing so I want to keep it low key.

Funny my first instinct was purple and these are lovely grape phase eight heels

I would then get a few purple flowers and wear as a wrist visage if low key look wanted.

That dress is gorgeous btw you you are def not clueless. Think I'd go for the purple for a contemporary and low key look or match the right shade of ivory for more bridal look.

Or these fuchsia ones if you want lower heels

Chippychop · 23/03/2012 22:26

Love the purple shoes!!!!

LongGoneBeforeDaylight · 23/03/2012 23:41

You can definitely wear those lovely grey shoes. Floaty dusky pinks, taupes, ivories, fauns etc all over spring runways.

MummyAnnabella · 24/03/2012 17:38

chippy aren't they fab?! I want the dress and shoes now and have nowhere to wear them!

Chippychop · 24/03/2012 22:26
