I don't drink coffee, and I haven't had an unbroken night's sleep in 9 months. This is probably a lot to do with why I am constantly forgetting stuff.

Good work on the splits.

yy it is the coffee I choose that does it

I`m not a lark or an owl... what does that make me ??? answers on a postcard.. I am in awe at larks though.

annie you can come and experience the joy of my sahm life..grass is always greenerGrin.. well done re the splits excellent..

Marsha that coffee sounds great we like proper stuff at the weekend and also have Douwe Edgberts like pickled weekdays.

Does anyone know of a toddler friendly seaside cottage ?? for my weekend trip.

Thoughts on the Bianca clutch Marc Jacobs I saw it styled with red jeans, tan ankle boots and a great little ASOS navy jacket.

suburbanstyle · 02/04/2012 13:05

I rarely drink coffee either. I have about a million cups of tea first thing and then switch to herbal in the afternoon. But I have the luxury of being able to switch off completely when DD goes to bed at 6.30. The few occasions I have had to do anything that requires concentration in the evening I hit the caffine straight away.

Your weekend sounds so relaxing annie I hope work is better today. Well done for not crying last week. DP has a male colleague who cried twice at work last week Shock. Oh and the grass is always greener re SAHM/WOHM. My best SAHM friend has just gone back to work and I was seriously Envy when she was telling me about her new office and back to work wardrobe.

I am feeling very broody after visiting my gorgeous 10 day old nephew in Dublin this weekend. I hope you have a lovely time there Decameron, brilliant shops in the new airport terminal too.

Can I ask what everyone wears with dresses/skirts in this weather. In the winter I wear thick tights/leggings and boots and go for bare legs when it is a bit warmer, but not sure what to do right now. I don't really like leggings with ballet flats/sandals and it seems a bit too warm for opaques.....

Hope everyone going away manages stress free journeys and lots of sun

ReineDeSaba · 02/04/2012 13:05

slaymill perhaps a Laowl?

pickled I love the adrenaline burst that you get when you hang on to the last minute to get things done but can get hairy.

hopefully I am totally intrigued as to how you juggle your business and the boys.I am finding it tricksy to say the least but childcare costs not enticing!

annie I'm not suprised that you can do the trims, you are a great mover.

marsha can't believe you forgot Grin I have been counting down forever!

have just done the library and popped into the charity shop where found twister..looking forward to playing with the girls Smile

Dauphin · 02/04/2012 13:07

Well hello....Ds poorly with flu so here we are! DDs and I made Easter biscuits this morning. Yum..., and have planned to make Nigella's Hot Cross Buns and Simnel Cake. The DCs do like helping with things like that. Keeps them from bickering and getting bored as we are stuck in the house.

Notso...hope you have a lovely time away...our new place is minutes from there, so its our new local which I am very pleased about.

Have done a big Boden splurge, and then get notice of 35% discount. So annoying. I really can't be bothered with returning and rebuying the whole lot though.

Oh and DH surprised me with with a beautiful silver bangle...a sort of late late Mothers Day present!

ReineDeSaba · 02/04/2012 13:08

surburban please could you link to your blog again.

can't help you on the dress front..I just freeze..wore DD1's cardigan over my sundress when it turned nippy in the park on friday(not a pretty sight as slightly too small for her as well!)

Dauphin · 02/04/2012 13:09

Suburban - I do bare legs if its warm enough, but use a light body oil to give a light sheen and do use Holiday skin to give legs a very light tan colour.

ReineDeSaba · 02/04/2012 13:10

dauphin may be worth calling boden to see if they can cancel and then you re-order.sorry you're all poorly.

I don't even want to go there on the coffee thing..cut me and I bleed it!

suburbanstyle · 02/04/2012 13:18

yes of course Reine it is here. Actually do you think I could see your cake pics, trying to decide if i can make a Pingu one for DD.

Thanks Dauphin I love a bit of leg oil, it's just that I feel the cold quite easily, starting to contemplate Kate Middleton american tan tights... Sorry you are ill, sods law on the first day of the holidays!

MarshaBrady · 02/04/2012 13:22

Reine I felt completely discombobulated by so much sleep. I was saying ds1 have breakfast, get dressed. I'm just lucky he said something before I got them out the door Grin Do you have the strongest coffee too?

Suburban I haven't done bare legs yet, they are a bit pale and it's so chilly in the morning. I will have to crack out the holiday skin when I do.

Slay I nearly got the Bianca think it's great. Although the tan colour wasn't exactly what I wanted (picky). It would look great styled like that.

Dauphin ds2 constantly helps me 'cook'. It is one of the main parts of our daily life. I do like it when I get the odd chance to just do it myself.

MarshaBrady · 02/04/2012 13:23

Blimey Suburban you look absolutely great. Well done!

suburbanstyle · 02/04/2012 13:31

thanks Marsha but well done for what Confused? Trying to decide whether to wake DD up for toddlers or not.. Am enjoying pottering at the moment but know she'll be bored and annoying if we don't do something this afternoon...
