Hope those others on holiday are having a great time.

We are leaving Victoria for Sydney today havi g had an amazing time. Dd has ridden for the first time and herded sheep. Dh and I have enjoyed scenic runs accompanied by kangaroos and winery visits! No heels on the farm, unsurprisingly.....

No fashion news- but did see a lot of Hasbeens in Melbourne!!

OllieinOrange · 01/04/2012 07:49

All sounds wonderful NY - funny about Hasbeens.

Running in to link to some Easter and other crafts Ive just seen in this mornings perusal of the DM.
Fritzi and possibly Verity for your Easter party - love the rabbit pictures, would be easy to to with a cheap canvas and cut offs?
have a look here
Love the dolls house idea too

Also - Whistles. If something says its oversized, should I size down? (low stock so would rather link once purchased)

OllieinOrange · 01/04/2012 08:12

Have a really great trip Red So pleased Im not the only one incapable of packing a capsule wardrobe! DH will have a new car by the time we go to France in the summer and its not an estate for the first time since we had children. im already worrying about the packing!

Fleecy thanks for the jeans feedback - lovely to hear about the fit on the thighs, will now order Smile

Decameron · 01/04/2012 08:58

Hi, my dad finally has broadband, phew.
Like the new name, Notsogrumpy! Thanks for the feedback on the bag.
I did cry at work too when I fell and fractured my foot, in front of dozens of people on the trading floor.
It was me who suggested a second dress, Emo. Try ocado12 for a discount.
I am incapable of packing lightly too, I was laden down like a pack horse yesterday. I bought a Longchamp bag for carryon overflow. Several people commented how well behaved the DDs were on the flight, long may it last!
Cool jeans, Bloss.
I will let you if we go into town, Verity. My dad wants to bring the girls into his office so we may be in. Hope the party went well.
Bon voyage, Red!
Glad you are having a great holiday, NY.
Ollie, glad you like the scarf. I would probably size down.
Bye for now.

Decameron · 01/04/2012 08:59

Let you Know, that is, Verity. Trying to get used to ipad.

blossoming · 01/04/2012 09:21

Great news re broadband decam. I get a bit jittery when everyone goes away!
Saw a forecast for Spain, not brilliant so will probably overpack too. How great your dd's were well behaved. Dd is a munchkin at the moment. Last time we went on a plane she'd find empty seats with random strangers!
Hope you have a great flight red, and a great time on your anniversary.
Sounds like a fantastic time notyummy. What great memories for you all.
Definitely size down ollie. Glad you liked the scarf. I realised last week that I still like the linen White Co one from last year. After I gave it a damn good ironing! Looks great with Roxy and black jeans. I will definitely consider getting another black pair. Possibly the ones I linked yesterday.
Palm Sunday, off to chapel with dd too. Give me strength.

MrsCampbellBlack · 01/04/2012 09:27

Well done Decam - I can hardly think about last year's flights with DD without coming out in a nervous rash [twitches]

Amber - I also tried on this stripey maxi yesterday and it was really really lovely. Bra may be an issue though . . .

Fleecy · 01/04/2012 09:37

I remember your thread about it mrscb Grin

Slaymill · 01/04/2012 10:09

Bit brighter here today just had breakfast in bed... to make up for non Mothers day/Birthday.

Decameron sound like your girls were a credit to you. My father has never been on a computer though his DP is very proficient and she is 80.

I think Ill get a collection of belts and try them on. I still cant order my NAP as it takes 48hrs to clear into bank via international payment... fingers are numb from sitting on themGrin

Love those links Ollie covet the Bookshelf/Dollshouse too !

Great bracelets amber very good find.

Lots of long haul flights and lovely hoildays I hope everyone will have a fanastic time. enjoys them vicariously

Hello grumpy :)

Must go shower and then off out to visit outlaws Hmm

MamaWantsABrandNewBag · 01/04/2012 11:14

Hello - I wondered if all of you stylish wise and avid ladies might be able to help me find a new bag here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/1440838-Can-you-help-find-me-the-perfect-bag-please please? Thanks v much.

rufus101 · 01/04/2012 12:24

Yes MCB and Fleecy!(Re Borgen)
Why didn't they just get a nanny? Just to help out with the school runs even? Crazy. I just didn't find it credible after that. What a prat. You'd have to divorce a guy like that.

pickledsiblings · 01/04/2012 15:20

Good afternoon lovley ones Smile.

Happy holiday wishes to those of you travelling and wonderful to hear from you NY - don't worry, MrsCB has been linking to DP in your absence - super cheap maxis Grin.

Bloss, what JBrands are you coveting? I can't open any NaP links.

blossoming · 01/04/2012 16:41

Not coveting, exactly pickled, but the zoey triple zip in black. Just realised that zips on jeans + roxy = overkill! I don't really need any more jeans right now. I have made the mistake of buying stuff for later, and finding myself with clothes the wrong size.
When I'm back from Spain I'm going to do a major ebay, then go from there. If it works out, with my violet lake bikini next week (ie no major malfunctions), I'll be buying it again in another colour for summer!

pickledsiblings · 01/04/2012 17:16

Oh yes, those are lovely Bloss. Violet Lake is such a great name for swimwear. Roxy would look great with coloured JB legging jeans - I love my Blue Bonnetts now that I have finally worked out how to style them, sometimes the flap pockets on the Agnes annoy me depending on what I'm wearing with them.

Quick question for all of the Mini drivers out there (Fritzi and I can't remember who else, Rufus?, Ollie??) - what model do you have and do you find it an economical second car?

Hopefully · 01/04/2012 20:01

Evening! Back from a lovely weekend at my parents.

NY sounds wonderful, enjoy the next bit of your adventure.

Red hope you have a fantastic time! I am a complete over-packer too, for the DCs as well.

Have just been for a run (for the first time in about 7 years) and am on a major high - it was so much better than expected! Did a little under 3 miles, started out doing the couch to 5k program but found I wasn't needing the walks so just carried on jogging for most of it. DH laughed at me coming in with a massive grin on my face. Need new running shoes though - mine are a decade old and not up to road running any more and have an annoying squeak.

Need to get properly back on the healthy eating bandwagon tomorrow. Not only do I feel fairly rough after 4 days of indulgence, but the obsessive healthy eating has virtually eliminated DS1's minor gut issues - think he must have some very minor wheat/refined flour/refined sugar intolerance or something (we never eat junk, but do have a reasonable amount of pasta/white bread/occasional cake). I'm not going to try to work out what it is exactly just now, but if eating healthily solves it, that's motivation enough for me! Am menu planning right now.

Wonder what the weather will do in the coming weeks? Need to order new clothes but don't want to be all wrong for the weather.

AmberNectarine · 01/04/2012 20:36

Just done 6w6p - what a bastard that is! my hands are hurting from so much time in plank position! If I don't wake up bikini ready tomorrow morning, I'm going to be most aggrieved...

Evening ladies just popping in to say hello to everyone.

annie glad your lovely girls got you over the hump that was Friday..I have been inspired by you and ordered 'the parent trap' looking forward to a snugglefest dvd session with my girls.

have brilliant trips dec and red .great to have your updates from Oz yummy

bloss I am usually up from 5 to 6 a.m every morning..my DD2 can still do random early wakes(5.30-6.30)but if she doesn't I shred,do some cleaning or cook a meal.I find it hard to fit that stuff in later in the day and DH wakes up at 5 anyway to go running.

hope everyone has had lovely weekends especially the babymamas..where has the sunshine gone though!

ReineDeSaba · 01/04/2012 23:03
