Lightweight jersey skirt

Can anyone find me one? Pleeeeaaaaaaaase!

It must be light enough (preferably in weight and colour) to wear in the heat and I would prefer it to fit over the hips and then flare out rather than flare straight from the waist since I am a short arse!

I had a lovely one that was perfect with vests and flip flops but it has given up the ghost and I really want another one.

Boden have got one - the Everyday Jersey Skirt. Sorry no idea how to do a link but easy enough to find.

Thanks Smile

That'll reach me to go discounting Boden!

I've looked at biden but I'm after a long skirt.

Probably should have mentioned that in OP.

Kettlewell

Mendeleyev · 21/03/2012 09:57

That kettlewell site looks good for basics, although not cheap. Has anyone had any of their stuff? How well does it last?

monkeysmama · 21/03/2012 11:03

Gap have one in a tan brown colour with a roll over waist. In sale too iirc.

Lulumama · 21/03/2012 11:04

I got one from Boden in the sale it is long, and it was well reduced in the sale, unless they have changed the material radically since last summer, i would not buy it full price, very thin material

SaraBellumHertz · 21/03/2012 13:39

Thank you thank you that kettlewell skirt is just what I was after.

Never hear if them though so would be interested on comments re quality

I've only had one cardigan from them, the quality was fine. I haven't worn it a lot so can't comment on how it is after a lot of washes though.

SeasonOfTheWitch · 21/03/2012 19:45

kettlewell are a tad overpriced but v good quality i hear (they specialise in seasonal colour stuff and i know a few colourettes who buy from them - 2 actually have that skirt, i can probably whistle them over here if you want a real life review)

another option is this MV skirt which gillybobs on here raved about. i'm just glued to the letter box waiting for mine to come: www.kaliko.co.uk/product.php?id=55230234

there's a purple one that looks the same style. no lighter ones tho.

SeasonOfTheWitch · 21/03/2012 19:46

i had a brain-trump half way thru writing that post - obv it's not MV.
