Someone has just sent me a facebook link about supermodels without airbrushing as if to say 'look how huge/awful they look without airbrushing'.

However, number one, apart from woman on left who looks really underweight in the torso area, I think the other two look lovely.

Also, I really think it's dangerous to call Crystal Renn a plus-size model because she simply isn't. This will a) stress the real plus size people and b) stress out the slimmer people who are the same size as Crystal and they'll try to get even slimmer.

I think her figure is 'normal' and quite lovely and what I would call perfection (being someone who is always trying to slim down to a 12 from a 14/16).

As another facebook link says, 'nearly all women on the planet are not supermodels and only 8 are supermodels!'

An American size 12 is a British size 16.

She is no way a 16 in that picture. I am a size 14/16 and I look nothing like her. Perhaps that's a 16 in height (tall clothes) rather than fat bum clothes like I wear

I agree she doesn't look like a size 16 in the photo. She is pretty tall though, that's true. I read her biography a couple of years ago, and she definitely described herself as a plus size model and was proud of it (she has had anorexia in the past), so I don't think it's just what someone else is labelling her as. But she may also have lost weight since then.

My sister is very tall and wears 14/16 clothes, her figure is about the same.

That photo is from 2010. She's much skinnier right now. Hopefully not going back to how she was few years ago (anorexic and very, very thin).
