Ideas for a new look please

I'm coming to the end of an interior architecture course and am about to go 'out to work'. I want a professional look, but more smart casual than city lawyer! Its been a long time post kids and course, and I have no inspiration for where to go. All ideas very welcome.

I'm 5ft 8, 12/14 and my legs are NOT my best feature - so no short skirts!

Thanks - looks good - know anywhere that does good white shirts? Its been a long long time ....and I'm now trying to get out of the land of mum clothes - jeans, trainers and fleeces!

I dont have to dress for work (the joys of my staid uniform)
so I might not be the best to advise but I would suggest looking a t the lookbooks of a few websites for inspiration

ahve a browse of cos and massimo dutti and reiss sites too

Cigarette type trousers or straight leg jean s go well with blazers

I think I wouldnt go for a 'white shirt' it a a bit predictable. (but that s maybe a personal thing)
