I've seen them mentioned a few times on the S&B board and looked in Office.
They look rather comfortable but are they stylish?
Toms

I'm always after a comfortable shoe and normally wear Converse - would TOMS do the trick? TIA

I like mine a lot and wore them with everything last summer, but I have to say they didn't last that well - both pairs were looking really tatty by the end of the summer. Saying that, I'll probably buy another pair this year.

LucyManga · 18/03/2012 15:36

Oh they are awful! Nooooo!

ggirl · 18/03/2012 15:42

dd wears them
they're fugly

mejon · 18/03/2012 16:15

WTAF - they are monstrous! £££££ for slippery-espadrilles! I've seen it all - though as I'm the only one who doesn't consider those Gabor shoes to be the epitome of granny shoes on that other thread what do I know about style?!

OhCobblers · 18/03/2012 16:26

ok you've convinced me. i thought that perhaps they were blissfully comfortable so worth the price.
i agree they look like expensive espadrilles!!
will get another pair of converse instead!!

I think the kids these day like Flossy's too

tunaday · 18/03/2012 17:10

Eeeek! They look like old man slippers!

monkeysmama · 18/03/2012 18:43

I wore mine a fair bit last summer. They are a lot lighter than Converse. I have Supergas and Ash trainers too but wear my Toms in warmer weather instead of ballet flats. They're really comfortable which is a bonus.

SardineJam · 18/03/2012 18:48

I think they are horrid, they dont have any heel support and end up looking like cheapy Uggs where your heel is not on the actual heel of the shoes

V.expensive for what they are

Iamweasel · 18/03/2012 18:50

But they give a pair to poor people for each pair sold. So are a Good Thing

theseventhdwarf · 18/03/2012 18:57

oh i think they are just awful, they look shapeless and clumsy.
What about something like the superga ones they look a bit better?

amusingbouche · 18/03/2012 19:10

How about a pair of Vans? Similar to Converse but (I think) cooler.

monkeysmama · 18/03/2012 20:13

They are fashionable and comfortable though the sizing is quite strange iirc and I had to size up twice.

toffeefee · 18/03/2012 20:26

Sorry, but I really don't like them. May be on holiday to the beach at a push, but not round town or to work. I don't think they are stylish at all.
