Returning Clinique products

I bought the three step kit last week from Debenhams. I'm sure the salesgirl said I could return it if I didn't get on with it- well, I didn't. It was too harsh an my skin got even more sensitive, I only used it for two days but it still hasn't settled. I'm trying Liz Earle now and it seems gentler.

I'm going to try and return it today, has anyone done this before? It's obviously used but I'm almost sure she said I could!

I would go for it. Take it back

Yes, I never have any problems returning things. A friend took something back to clinique the other month because it made her itchy. They want your custom so it's in their interest to be nice and have good customer service.

Thanks for the replies, decided to chance it and yes they took it back. Even gave me a sample of the one for sensitive skin but I don't know if I'll use it.
