Stylistpick.com - anyone using?

Had a quick look after I read some good stuff about them - but it seems it's almost a subscription, something about paying £39.95 a month if you forget to 'skip' the month...

Is it easy to use if you don't want anything that month - I am a bit lazy and can easy see myself racking up a lot of £39.95's for very little return...

thanks.

I signed up after the blitz of publicity in Grazia but fortunately didn't buy anything the first couple of months. On about the third month I saw something I liked and was tempted but then read the rules properly - once you buy something once your credit card is then 'subscribed' and the site automatically deducts £39.95 unless you press 'skip' by 5th of that month. You then get a credit to your account for a pair of shoes, so you could buy two the next month for example.

After I realised what the full arrangement was I didn't buy anything and haven't since because I am the same, a bit lazy, and would forget to skip.

Although the shoes are (quite) nice and the rules are stated (somewhere on the site) I would really like to know how many people bought and then were surprised to find their credit card debiting the next month.

I would buy from the site if they changed the rules to one-off purchases, but only then.

thanks MrsBaldwin. on balance I think I'll give it a miss. will be interesting to see if they keep it like this, because it does seem a slightly odd idea. (Although not I suppose if everyone is really lazy and just ends up 'donating' £40 a month to stylistpick.com!!)

I'm signed up to StylistPick. The shoes are very trendy and I always get compliments when I wear a pair I bought from them. Yes, you have to remember to skip by the 5th, but I just set up an online reminder to email me on the 4th of every month to help me remember.

Online reminder email a good idea.

I just got an email from Stylistpick saying they were now allowing Pay As You Go. So now you don't have to sign up for a monthly subscription.

Spooky (given this thread) ... but good.

I might even have a look and buy some shoes now :)

They arrived and they are tragically too big. Only tragic because I want to wear them NOW.
