Michelle wins in the style stakes IMO

I prefer Michelle's but I'm not crazy about the enormous necklace and I thik the dress could have provided a bit more support at the front. It's much better though than SamCam's thing. What's going on with the belt and the black tie at the neck. Ugh. Michelle is so obviously thinking 'this is a state dinner, why have you come as a blue doily?'

I didn't know anything much about Michelle, then I caught her interviewed on the Ellen Degeneres show. She is fabulous.

Sam Cam ought to be a lot easier to dress than Michelle - she is so much slimmer. She seems to have a real aversion to showing any flesh at all, which is very dull.

I agree Bonsoir. And yet I always find myself wincing slightly. Did you see the coat she came off the plane in?

I just googled her coming off the plane. . That was very frumpy black mac, and the blue trousers and shoes didn't go together or with the mac. She ought to have looked glamorous and bright getting off the plane. Why doesn't she get a stylist? Her sister works at Vogue FFS!

And so many unflattering high round necks on Sam Cam! Why?

There is something of the horsey-faced Sloane about her that she just can't shake off. I don't dislike her, but I wish she would look more modern. Michelle O looks bang up to date.

SamCam doesn't have the personality for a dress like that - someone like Michelle Williams would look amazing in it. SamCam's always stooped and apologetic-looking and her hair just sort of hangs there, in this case interfering with the high neckline.

She has no sense of style, so putting her in anything stylish just doesn't work, she can't carry it off. She always looks so bloody bland and suburban, whatever she's wearing.

Also Michelle Obama's sleeves and necklace make her look like she's got no neck, not flattering.

She looks bloody gorgeous Honky "personality for a dress like that* indeed! It's a classic frock and her waist is to die for! What would you have her wear...a bin bag?

I love the dress and her figure is great. But she's standing there looking all sheepish. I would just like her to stand up straight and stop being such a mouse. If you're going to wear a dress like that, then wear it with confidence.

Well yes....she DOES look kind of gauche....but think it's quite charming in a way...she still looks youngish and though you're right...her hair SHOULD be up with that neckline...if she was all tits and teeth she'd get loads of flack.
