Barcelona - shopping?

Am off to Barcelona for a mini break next week - anything I should look out for eg cool brands / labels or anything a lot cheaper than here? becauseI'mnotreallybeingshallowIhavebeenbeforeanddonealltheamazingarchitecturetouristystuff

I tend to like more quirky, unusual stuff though am a big Zara fan

no, there is no shopping like london/uk!

Goes without saying: Zara and Mango.
Massimo Dutti is a lot cheaper there.
MiSaKo has good bags, wallets in there.

There is a big shopping centre called Port Vell that is worth going to.

what? zara/mango/massimo dutti are the same price as here, esp if you take into account the bad exchange rate at the moment!

thanks will look out for Port Vell and Misako, might see if Zara does different stuff to ours? I live in a London borough so looking for something a bit different really! (then again, I did go to H&M last time in Barcelona but that's because i got caught in a downpour and had to buy jumper and umbrella!)

I love Mango but it's not exactly exclusive to Barcelona!

I can't remember the name of the street now but there's a seriously amazing shopping street (for someone not from a city anyway!) somewhere near Park Guell, out that way. It's where the big designers have their shops. Someone is bound to remember the name.

Yes Port Vell is quite nice too.

sigh I miss my trips to Barcelona.
