oh it might be blush i was rushing (read giddy with excitement) by the time i was ordering that so i didn't clock what was in it. but what if it's super duper woo bicarb?

i left it on 3 mins the first time - meant to be 2-3 mins and i always push boundaries Smile

the surprising bit is that the bicarb neutraliser stings a bit but that wears off after a few secs.

I've just finished my first 6 week course of Bravura 30%. I'm supposed to wait a month before I can use it again. It's very good. By the final session, I was leaving it on for about 8 minutes. I still have some blackheads, and my skin isn't perfect, but it's SO much better than before. Am thinking of trying the 50% next time, to try and really blast those blackheads, but am a little scared to do that. Meanwhile, I am using Alpha H to maintain.

high five quinn! that sounds impressive. how much would you say your skin has improved? have others noticed?

50% is hardcore!

you've just inspired me to start this thread actually so feel free to post there! www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/1432574--sounds-klaxon-30-GA-peel-shizzle-that-you-can-do-at-home

Well, it's certainly no miracle cure, for me anyway. I'm using it predominantly for my heavily congested skin. I have oily skin with blackheads pretty much everywhere except my outer cheeks. The glycolic acid has reduced them by 75% I would say. However, it only takes 2 or 3 days for my skin to start getting congested again, so it's an ongoing battle for me.

Skin generally looks clearer and brighter. Can't say it's done much for my 37 year old fine lines. It has made the broken capilleries around my nose less obvious though, which is brilliant. Large pores are better, but still there.

It's the only thing which has made any proper difference to my skin, and I've tried a lot of products over the years, including the clarisonic, which was too harsh for me ( sensitive skin with broken capilleries ).

Really thorough cleansing (double cleansing ) and glycolic acid is the way forward for me.

I am going to try the 30% one season linked to on her other site..but I must say I have noticed my pores and blackheads have imporved a lot since I started using retinol cream at night
