country farmhouse furniture in a modern 80's house?

have lived here for 20 yrs and now am hankering after cuntry stuff for some bizarre reason

will it be bizarre? , obvioulsy will temper it , not be having milking urns or the like as ornaments

I've got a similar thing going on in my house. I have painted all the walls white and that seems to help. Keep things neutral is best I think.

I think it's a 7 yr itch to redecorate with a whole new 'look'

I am turning into my mother who redecorates her house practically every yr, but without the £££ to actually do it.
