Am looking for a blazer for summer
Love massimo dutti one but at 165 it s over budget
Am looking at hush navy blazer - but concerned that it looks a bit cropped of short
I m 5"8 want it to wear with jeans and dresses (possible navy stripe pencil skirt From hush website too)
Has anyone bought it- does it come up small or short? I m an 8-10 normally but 12 would look way too big (am totally flat chested) - options on the site are (8) or (10-12).
I know Zara have some - I was liking the pink one but thought a navy would go with more stuff
Have linked below

hush navy

Can't find the Zara one at the moment sorry

there are lots of this type about, I really like them too, smarter than a cardi but not too formal.
Topshop have some nice ones
I have seen this one in store in navy but no longer online
HM also have them for around £25 I think
I have quite a feew alreadt but am on the lookout for a slightly longer bum covering one, please let me know if you have seen one on your travels.

I had the natural colour blazer from hush delivered this morning and am umming and ahhing about whether to keep it. I ordered the small/medium, because I'm also normally 8-10 on top. It fits ok. Button does up. (am 30d so that sometimes doesn't happen). It's nice thick jersey. It is short on me, and I'm 5'4 - and it's almost right ....... except the lapels are doing that thing where they keep unfolding. I think that might irritate me. Also it has no pockets (except a small breast pocket). Think I just made my mind up and will send it back Smile

there is a rather nice one by whistles which I think I might order instead. I think it's on the john lewis website (sold out in whistles) - it's called Leni. Not sure if they have it in navy. It's 95, so better than the MD price at least. Might be worth a look?

I really like
The Topshop one too!
I m deciding against the hush one - i was worried the jersey would do that crushed not
Holding folds thing- also the non pockets- is a no no
Went and bought Zara pink one but it s really baby pink (got medium so it would be bum covering) and I m not sure the colour is going to work well- can see it getting grubby quickly. If only they did it in navy!!!!

I got a lovely navy blazer from Zara a couple of weeks ago, are they now sold out then?

HerRoyalNotness · 12/03/2012 16:39

I bought a navy jersey blazer in Zara Oxford Street today, they had lots but I had to ask to find where the blue ones were. The Uniqlo ones were nice, a bit boxy for me though. Top Shop only had 3 black ones left in size 8, it did look
Lovely, I can see why they are sold out. Also Zara sizing, I bought XL, where as I bought a mac from M&S last week that is a size 14. So not overly generous then?

theseventhdwarf · 16/03/2012 10:09

I ve resurrected a blazer I got
In France 2 years ago - got some fabulous buttons and changed them for the old
Ones that were on it - it s changed the look
Of the jacket and though it s not navy or new I love it again now! Wink
