Hello!

I posted a thread ages ago about a broken vein on my nose.

Well, it was just getting bigger and bigger so I took the plunge and booked in to get it lasered.

It was brilliant! The nurse was fantastic, explained everything like how it works and potential risks.

It took about five minutes and it immediately looked better. It did sting a bit, especially when she did a couple of other bits round my nose and face, but it soon went off.

Three weeks later it has gone completely, not even a tiny bit red! It took three weeks because it was quite bad; the others were gone straight away.

It cost £80, which is roughly what I'd spent on concealed throughout the year I had it.

I bought some Simple 50 facial sunblock so I don't get any brown patches, which is lovely to use, so i'm very pleased.

All in all I would totally recommend it, and would like to say thanks for all your advice!

oooh, I need to get mine done (again - I find I do about every 3 years)... where did you go?

An independent laser clinic near me; if you're up north, I'll PM you the name.

ooh good one.

I had a teeny weeny broken capillary on the tip of my nose lasered off last year. Mine was gone within just a few days really.

Isn 't science brilliant!
