I really need some help with this. I have my nans funeral next week and have absolutly nothing to wear, no trousers or tops literally nothing. I am currently a size 18/20 and rapidly losing weight so would like something that could still be worn even when I become another dress size smaller. I am 5'4" ish with big boobs and belly. Please could someone help me find something, I am looking and getting no where!

Needtogetalife, do you need black ? I bought a dress from Warehouse to wear to a funeral very recently but a lot of other people were wearing separates in varying shades of black, grey and cream. I think it depends on what you'd feel most comfortable in.

What colour is your main coat? For the funeral service and burial/cremation you will likely be wearing a coat at this time of year, so as long as you have a sombre coloroured coat what you have underneath will be less important.

Under your coat, just wear something simple and plain, it doesn't need to be black.

Also, what was the thing your nan liked you best in? Has she ever given you something you could wear, a piece of jewellery for example.

Do you want something black?

sorry for not getting bac, it doesnt need to be black but Im guessing something not too bright though. Dolly I love that dress and fab price too but I dont wear dresses as have an embarrasingly large varacose vein on my leg (calf to above knee). All my normal wardrobe is jeans and very casual. I have really let it slide but with loosing weight I am also reluctent to buy formal things that wont get alot of wear. I was thinking maybe a

Sorry I don't like the tunic, it looks like a maternity smock. If you have a bit of a tummy maybe it will accentuate that? Something slightly more fitted will give you a slimmer look. If you wear leggings, why not tights with dresses? M&S do fab body shaper tights in 40, 60, or 100 denier so easily cover your vein. How about a skirt and top?
