Boden sizing

Does Boden sizing always come up small?

I want to buy some stuff of the "Buy 3 get one for £1" deal for DS and DD. DD is only 20 weeks old, and has plenty of clothes so I want to get her something for next summer. When DS was a baby I always had to size up. DD is on smaller height/weight centiles than him, though. Dunno what to do. The stuff I want to buy her is pinafore dresses, seems daft to get soem for this summer as she'll probably be trying to learn to crawl and surely a dress would get in her way?

My two (DS 8 and DD 5 ) are average size. I buy a fair bit of Boden - at age appropriate size - but always buy with adjustable waist if trousers or skirts so room for them to grow into.

I once bought DD a pair of cords without the adjustable waist and they never fit her round the waist before they got too short in the leg.

Dresses only get in the way of crawling if they are too tight or below the knee IME

Thank you Taffeta,
Have ordered a dress, in age appropriate size for this summer. After a few years of camo and cars, I am rather enjoying pink and pretty clothes!
