Cousin's april wedding - v casual, what do you think of this dress?

here its a registry office, then back to their house for a BBQ/bring a bottle party. so, all the dresses I have for weddings are too weddingy and all my casual dresses are too casual (it is still a wedding, after all) so I am looking for something in between, that I could wear again.

I am 5'1" hourglass with long legs, shoulder length aurburn hair, pale olive skin and blue eyes. problem is, I have a skeletal disorder which affects my ribs and shoulders, they are not my best feature.

what do you think? any better ideas? cheap as possible (£50 max)

How about this? www.asos.com/Vero-Moda/Vero-Moda-Kapow-Kimono-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=1916782&cid=8799&Rf-200=17&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Multi
Asos generally have lots of choice if you search on dresses and multi (I'm guessing you want print!). I would have thought that if you have long legs that you should show them off a bit and maybe cover up the shoulders? But then I envy long legs!

its v nice, but too deep v (my ribcage is knobbly) tbh, despite being long, my legs arent great unless covered in thick tights.

I like your dress OP. With nice wedges and a clutch bag it will be perfect

thank you. Grin

Sorry - mistook shoulder/ rib concern. I like the dress too. It strikes me as exactly right for the day. At risk of sounding like my mother will you be warm enough in April?

OracleInaCoracle · 08/03/2012 12:51

sonotkylie, Grin I was thinking of getting a shrug, or pashmina, or cardigan just in case.

That's very sensible dear. What about wellies?

I love that dress Lissie.

No wellies, but I do have some fab wedges.

Thanks all, think I will bite the bullet and get it, as you say, it'll be something I can wear again and again in the summer with a pair of flip flops.
