Shock

I think it's a side effect of the mirena but I don't want to have it taken out as it's perfect in every other way.

Do I wax? Confused

Is it thick and dark or fine and fair?

whyme2 · 07/03/2012 21:10

Wax is the way forward.

hairybeast · 07/03/2012 21:12

Fair and thick!

dh bought me a facial waxing kit and a facial veet type thing. The wax worked but was a little painful (brought a tear to my eye!). It was easy to use and the strips are washable and reusable. He got them from Tesco

Seona1973 · 07/03/2012 21:15

p.s. the wax thing was veet too

banditqueen · 07/03/2012 21:17

Your DH bought them Seona?! That is one romantic gift...

Seona1973 · 07/03/2012 21:20

I asked him to buy them - he does the weekly shop on a saturday

Seona1973 · 07/03/2012 21:20

I might have been offended if he just decided to get them for me on the spur of the moment!

mummynoseynora · 07/03/2012 21:20

I have just a few dark hairs on one side too - I am only 31 FFS Angry ... was debating getting them lasered - is that a good idea?

mumofjust1 · 07/03/2012 21:21

I would say waxing too - but for God sake don't wax your face at home!!

Go somewhere and get it done properly. I have it done once a month or so for a fiver at a local salon.

Doesn't hurt too much Grin

abigboydidit · 07/03/2012 21:23

Am getting a bit whiskered too but worry that messing with it will lead to stubble to rival Desperate Dan..

banditqueen · 07/03/2012 21:33

Or for valentines day Seona Grin

hairybeast · 07/03/2012 21:43

That's what's worrying me too abigboy!

I have a beard if I don't take care of itBlush I laser it with a home I'll thing then bleach what is left and trim the hairs right down. I had no idea i'd have facial hair by the age of 38!

virgil · 07/03/2012 21:46

I P L not I'll (stupid iPad)

randommoment · 07/03/2012 21:48

I rely on my faithful magnifying mirror and a pair of tweezers.

bigredtractor · 07/03/2012 21:51

No no no, don't wax, try threading. Much kinder to your skin...

hairybeast · 07/03/2012 21:54

Virgil my chin us feeling slightly fluffy too but not noticeably so yet.

And I'm only 27!

OP posts:
mumofjust1 · 07/03/2012 21:55

Bigredtractor - that would be agony! Why prolong it?!

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 07/03/2012 21:58

I am also complete with beard. Mainly only noticeable in sunshine, but still, I am only 33. Have 'tache waxed every month, but not sure what to do about beard! Grin arrgghh.

bigredtractor · 07/03/2012 21:59

It's sore, but over v quickly and doesn't leave you with a cat's bum mouth. Couple of minutes of twizzling- job done!

It's how I dispatch mine...

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 07/03/2012 22:02

Any chance of cultivating some nice side whiskers to match?

Smellslikecatspee · 07/03/2012 22:06

Threading.

Am dark haired but fair skin.

Threading hurts like (I was going to say buggery, but its not Friday :) )

But some Bingela about 10-15 minutes before works a treat, and Threading is the only thing that doesn't leave a bright red mark for abpur 10 days like a flashing sign saying
