Pandora, Troll Beads or ............

So, am going shopping for my b'day on friday and I really like the Pandora style bracelets. However, there appears to be so many different 'brands' depending in the shop. Does anyone know which is the best quality or does anyone have an opinion on different styles?

I have pandora but that's my personal preference. Some other makes are cheaper or more expensive.for me I preferred the charms and quality of pandora. Each brand usually has a booklet with their products so perhaps try get a copy or compare online? X

pandora is the most popular and easiest to buy as its everywhere now. BUt if you prefer the glass style beads then i would consider the trollbeads. the glass trollbeads are far prettier than the pandora ones, usually cheaper as well and lots more designs to be had.
the silver trollbeads are a little bit different as well.
I have both brands, i also have chamilia (which dp refers to as my chav bracelet as its got blingy crystals on it) and also just got a links of london play bracelet. not as much choice on the beads for that one yet, but i'm sure that they will release more and the ones i have so far are excellent quality and really pretty.

I like the Pandora beads best and the fact that they are easy to buy is a constant temptation bonus as far as I am concerned.

I've got a Trollbeads bracelet and a mixture of trollbeads and pandora charms. Bear in mind that you can't put other brands onto a Pandora bracelet, but you can put Pandora charms onto a Trollbeads (for example) bracelet.

I know I am light years behind the times, but I've just googled Pandora bracelets - heard about them, seen friends 'oohing' and 'aahing' over them but never really understood what it was all about.

I like them but ye Gods the prices!! You could really spend a fortune couldn't you?!!

Pandora are crappy, I am and have been for several years a Trollbeads girl, they are the original and best love the Nordic style of many of the silver beads.

Troll is the original and the artist who designed each bead receives commission. Each bead is hand made too so although mass produced, seems less so in my opinion but Pandora is more common from what I've seen so she might consider them more authentic if that makes sense.

Nothing but praise for Pandora.

Recently had a problem with one of my beads/charm that I have had for a few years, not really sure what happened but it wouldn't go over the screw parts(?) on bracelet seemed as if the opening on bead had shrunk, so it wouldn't move stopping me from adding more beads. Took it into a pandora shop they sent it away for advise, today I collected repaired bracelet free of charge.
