Most compliment-inducing dress EVER

Bought this Warehouse frock yesterday, wore it to work today and literally got compliments from about 20 people. Some of them even complimented me twice! Shock

So I thought I'd share it with you lovely Mumsnetters so you can get in on the action :)

The ruching is very forgiving on the mum tum, and it's a good length for work. They have it in black and purple too so I might get another one.

Well, I'm a 12 and still carrying a bit of baby weight (DS is nearly 18 months Blush) especially on the tum and boobs. I wore big pants and black opaques and felt quite marvellous, actually.

I do like it but I am 5ft 8 and it looks quite short on the model so that usually means it would be short on me too (well too short for work anyway Wink)

tethersend · 06/03/2012 20:27

That's very nice.

But they've misspelled 'ruched'.

pigsmightnevercease · 06/03/2012 20:38

I know, tethers. Silly people.

ceebee I'm 5ft8 and it's about two inches above the knee on me. I work in quite a groovy company, though.

It sounds like a lovely dress - roooshhhed. Not like the ruched dresses commoners wear.

ceebeegeebies · 06/03/2012 20:49

I wish I did but my prudish manager would not be impressed if I turned up with a skirt a couple of inches above my knee Sad which is a shame as my legs are by far my best asset Wink

pigsmightnevercease · 06/03/2012 21:00

Bah, ceebee - that sucks!

Oh I have this dress in the plain material though didn't see the printed one in the shop when I was in Grin It's fab isn't it?

Eclairwaldorf · 07/03/2012 04:07

Would this work for a size 14 34E busted lady, do you think?

porcamiseria · 07/03/2012 10:28

what eclair said, I am a 14 with boobs...would it look OK?

Buttonnosedsausage · 07/03/2012 11:41

I am 5'2 and have this dress in a size 16, I have 32E boobs and a mum tum. The dress is knee length on me and imo is flattering and would flatter most. Wink

Eclairwaldorf · 07/03/2012 13:27
