The selection and quality of goods makes it easier to dress in the South using second hand clothes.
And if you say IAMBU please let me in to your northern charity shop secrets

Not necessarily only in the South, but in better-off areas generally, where the shops are likely to get better-quality clothes donated.

I've found the prices are better not in the South, though.
