Footless tights: dying breed?

I just want some footless opaque tights (or stirrup ones would do; I'm not fussy) in purple.

That's all.

I've found one pair (American Apparel) which I will buy but which aren't QUITE the right colour ? they're grapey and ideally I want a more violet or burgundy/claret colour.

They're so chuffing hard to find! Have looked on all the department-store websites, To' Sho', Sock Shop, Tabio, Amazon, eBay, and random 'tights r us' type dodgy-as-fuck-looking websites, to very little avail.

Can anyone suggest somewhere to look that I haven't thought of yet?

I have some that came from Sainsbury's about a year ago. I've also seen them (bizarrely) in Wilkos more recently.

Thanks! You'd think, on such a huge site ... but I've already looked and there is really very little. The combo of footless/stirrup and purple or wine colour seems to be an outlandish one.

Ooh I was looking for footless tights the other day, but I wanted dark teal. How about these? they are a winey purple I think... hard to tell though. Worth a punt for £3.48 inc postage?

Mama, I'm not really sure ... Where is the dividing line between tights and leggings? I definitely feel different, IYSWIM, in tights and a dress than I do in leggings and a dress, but am not sure why!
