what does one wear out these days??

I know, I know this is regularly done to death but what do people wear out to pubs/ clubs these days??
I've been invited out for a birthday... its a do in local pub and then maybe on to a club.
I havent been "out" in 8 yrs ( shocking I know).... dont worry I have been out for meals and theatre and stuff ! I'm not really a recluse

So I'm a 30 something size 10, good leg/ small tits. ginger. I have some rather nice teal coloured skinny jeans from topshop. would they do and what can I wear with them? Unfortunately my budget is more new look/topshop than reiss or hobbs iyswim.

I would wear a dress but that's just because I spend the rest of my life in jeans and love to have a reason to not wear them, no matter how informal the occasion. You've good legs - why not?
A couple of suggestions of the kind of thing I would go for. Lately, I've been trying to get dresses I could wear in the day also. Though I find I never do for some reason. Tempted by these two.

thank you- I like the warehouse one and I like the shape of the dotty p one but black washes me out.
might go for a little frock then.... I dont have any suitable shoes though so that might break the budget

Few other nice ones on the DP website...with some colour too. Do you have ankle boots? You're tall enough to carry that look off - worth a try. Otherwise, post to get some bargainous shoe suggestions when you pick your dress :)
